Adrian is a senior strategic, procurement, sourcing, and commercial professional, with a wealth of experience in setting up and leading commercial and indirect procurement functions in multi-channel retail and wholesale, across a range of food, non-food and procurement categories. With over 40 years’ commercial experience, Adrian’s expertise spans both many retail sectors including grocery supermarkets, discount sector, wholesale, online and mail order.. He’s worked with a wide range of organisations including Tesco plc, Sears plc, Safeway plc, Netto Stores Ltd, B&M Bargains & Morrisons supermarkets Ltd.
Having recently retired from Morrisons, he now works part time for Omni Global Sourcing Solutions, working with a global sourcing and sales team to develop its UK presence in importing ambient food stuffs from nontraditional sources.
In addition to operating still in the procurement commercial world, Adrian currently tutors for the Oxford College of Marketing and teaches on the CIPS level 3 Certificate and Level 4 Procurement Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain.
With this wealth of experience and still operating in a sourcing role, Adrian is able to embellish procurement theory with current and relevant real-life examples to bring all lectures to life!
