What Will I Learn

This qualification will build on the skills and knowledge already gained from the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

Upon completing this course, you will be the holder of a highly sought-after, industry recognised qualification. You will be able to demonstrate your expertise in leadership, communication and problem solving, and will be able to market yourself as an effective leader who is able to think strategically, influence policy and implement real organisational change.

Finally, after completing the CIPS Professional Diploma you will be eligible to apply for chartered status: this status is internationally recognised and will demonstrate your expertise and commitment to the profession to any potential employer.

The Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply comprises 60 credits. Delegates will complete four core modules which make up 42 credits and an additional three elective modules which make up the remaining 18 credits.

  • CIPS Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply (2006 Syllabus)

Delegates currently studying on the 2006 syllabus will be able to transition onto the current syllabus in order to complete their qualification.

If you have already completed a degree in a related subject from an accredited university, you may be able to apply for module exemptions from your CIPS qualification.
